„Multiple zeta values in positive characteristic “

In this talk, we will introduce multiple zeta values (abbreviated as MZV's) over function fields in positive characteristic initiated by Thakur in 2004. In the first half, we will review recent developments for MZV's and compare with their counterpart in characteristic zero. In the second half, we will present an effective criterion for computing the dimensions of double zeta values (MZV's of depth two) and sketch its proof.
