Gauge theories, moduli spaces and quantum algebras
Supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory and the geometry of various moduli spaces such as supersymmetric vacua, instantons or monopoles in various quantum gauge theories gives a fresh perspective on the older problems in the classical representation theory, quantum groups, 2d conformal field theory and quantum integrable systems. I will touch on some recent aspects of this story in connection with representation of quivers in sheaves on complex surfaces and q-deformation of W-algebras.
