In this first of a series of talks, we will start by reviewing the Lubin-Tate formal group laws and using these, describe the Artin reciprocity map of the local Class Field Theory. We will then begin our study of Lubin-Tate spaces. We will start with the categorical definition of a formal group and a formal module.
