The Geometrization Theorem for 3-manifolds of Thurston and Perelman says in particular that a generic 3-manifold is hyperbolic. In 1982 Thurston asked 24 questions on the properties of hyperbolic 3-manifolds. We will report on the answer to the final four questions by Agol and Wise. No prior knowledge of 3-manifold topology is required.
