Abstract: A complex projective structure is a geometric structure on a surface S, and it in particular enjoys a complex structure. In addition it has a holonomy homomorphism from the fundamental group of S into PSL(2,C). On the other hand, given such a homomorphism, there are typically infinitely many associated complex projective structures. Then this collection is a discrete subset of the deformation space of marked complex projective structures on S. We show that this discrete subset projects onto a dense subset of the moduli space of complex structures on S. This is a joint work with Subhojoy Gupta.
