Hauptseminar Geometrie

The combinatorics of arcs on surfaces plays a key role in the study of geometry of the Teichmueller space and the topology of the moduli space for bordered surfaces. In this talk we shall illustrate some new result about how the mapping class group and arc complexes (or triangulation graphs) interplay.
