„Equivariant Moore approximations and Intersection spaces“
Dr. Bryce Chriestenson , Universität Heidelberg

The goal of this talk will be to generalize the definition of an intersection space associated to a stratified pseudomanifold, originally defined by M. Banagl. We will see that such intersection spaces satisfy a type of Poincaré duality. We will use this to study the intersection homology signature of the original pseudomanifold. This new definition requires the existence of an equivariant Moore space approxmation. We will study such a thing in some detail and show how it can be used to give a number of new fiber bundle constructions. These constructions rely on the notions of homotopy pushouts and cosheaves, which we will introduce. This is joint work with M. Banagl.
