Until October 2023, I worked in the research group Arithmetische Geometrie of Prof. Otmar Venjakob,
where I received my PhD in July 2023. Before that, I completed my Master's studies in mathematics in 2019, also at the University of Heidelberg.

My field of interest is arithmetic and algebraic geometry. More specifically, my research projects are related to: cohomology of rigid analytic varieties, trace formulas, p-adic L-functions...

My last name is  pronounced "Mahl-cheech". Feel free to use the international spelling "Malcic" -- I often do, too.
