New PhD position in our group

Currently, we have a new PhD position in our Research Group to be filled.

The successful candidate will work on the project "Systolic inequalities in Reeb dynamics" which is part of the renewal of the SFB/TRR 191 Symplectic Structures in Geometry, Algebra and Dynamics.

To have a look at the many activities our group is involved into check out the website of the Research Station Geometry and Dynamics of the Mathematical Institute.

If you are interested in the position, you can have a look at this introduction to Systolic Inequalities in Riemannian and Symplectic geometry. The goal of the project is to investigate systolic inequalities in contact and symplectic geometry. For instance, one of the milestones is to generalize Theorem 1.39 in the introduction to a wider class of systems with symmetries.

You find here all information about how to apply. Applications should reach the secretarial office of the SFB/TRR 191 by 31 January 2021. For questions and enquiry, please drop me an email.
