Number fields with the same zeta function have been extensively studied. Gunther Cornelissen and Matilde Marcolli recently studied number fields with the same abelian L-functions. The present lecture is devoted to various sharpenings of the results they achieved. The lecture reports on joint work with Bart de Smit.
