Prismatic cohomology has been recently introduced by Bhatt and Scholze; it provides a new and unified way of constructing several already known p-adic cohomology theories. In the first half of my talk, I will give a brief introduction to prismatic cohomology: its construction and some of its main properties. I will then explain how this cohomological formalism can be used to prove classification theorems for p-divisible groups. This is the subject of a joint work with Johannes Anschütz.
