„Construction of vector-valued Siegel modular forms of degree 2 “

In this talk we will explain how to construct vector-valued Siegel modular forms of degree 2 in two different ways. The first one is based on the Taylor expansion of scalar-valued Siegel modular forms of higher degree (joint work with Gerard van der Geer). The second one uses the theory of covariants of binary sextics ((joint work with Carel Faber and Gerard van der Geer). All along the talk, we will stress on concrete examples.
