This talk is about a generalization of K. Kato's conjecture on the existence of a Cohomological Hasse principle from the case of regular proper flat schemes over complete discrete valuation rings with finite residue fields (now a theorem proven by M. Kerz, S. Saito and U. Jannsen) to the case of higher local fields as residue fields. Furthermore, the implications to higher dimensional class field theory of varieties over higher local fields are drawn.
